Each and every one of the trainees had his/her testimony before joining and with the faces full of happiness, they appreciate USAID for making them successful.
Francine Dufatanye who is a high school dropout, once a street-seller shared her testimony of becoming able to achieve more in accordance to the training she had got from this program.

“my parents had no ability to pay the school fees so that I dropped out my school and I ended up being a street-seller which made me caught and kept in custody. After that I met my friend who introduced me the USAID Huguka Dukore Akazi Kanoze trainings which I joined without hesitating. They have taught us so many things that I can’t even remember some of them but they were all important. The big thing I profited now is that I leant how to save my income and with that I have big dreams to achieve.” Francine said

Although they were taught to save for the future so that they can have their own businesses, they also have been taught working in groups which made some little groups of them to start up their own businesses. The US Ambassador in Rwanda Peter H Vrooman have appreciated them for that and asked them to keep on the good habit.

“working in groups and achieving more is great step that you have acquired and I ask you ‘to keep it up’ not only that, but we also help people with disabilities and show them how to help themselves. We couldn’t succeed without participation of the government so that I also appreciate them for that.” Peter said
