Kigali: Positivo Laptops are going to be maintained by Rwanda Polytechnic students

On Thursday, 25th October 2019 Rwanda Polytechnic has celebrated its 3rd graduation ceremony in Kigali Arena. 2390 is the total number of graduands which include 606 females and 1784 males. They are awarded Diploma and Advanced Diploma after completing their studies in different programs in academic year of 2018/2019 in eight constituent colleges of Rwanda polytechnics.

In this ceremony that attended by graduands and their families and high ranking government officials, the vice chancellor of IPRC has appreciated the hands parents in guiding their children up to their success, he has also given some piece of advice to the graduands that before going to the work market they must be guided by honesty and hardworking.

“I thank the government of Rwanda for promoting polytechnic and the whole hand it had put in improvement of this sector while helping students for all the equipments and knowledge they all needed. Now you students it’s your time to act what you dealt with and you have to know that honesty and hardworking will guide you in your daily life.” He said

The best performers had awarded during this ceremony including eight students (one student from each IPRC), two female who had chosen to study sciences and technology, and the innovation project of Agahozo Beef Powder which will solve the problem to those who don’t have fridge to keep their meat for a long time, this project will also solve the problem of malnutrition.

However there are still the challenges to face, Minister of Education Dr Eugene Mutimura gave good news to the graduands that the government is read to support them and had warned them to use whatever opportunity.

“it’s important for us to see what is achieved and to look forward to what’s going to be fulfilled in the future, by using various opportunities including those which are given by the government, you better use them in whatever you do as you fulfill your works and innovations.” He said

Rwanda Polytechnic wants the profile of its graduate to be defined by a high work ethic, professionalism, god citizenship and aspiring to the highest standards.
